Originally signed with WWE in 2011, Jordan and Chad Gable formed the tag team 'American Alpha'. Their NXT Tag Team Championship was won in 2016, and then they moved up to the main roster in 2017.

As a team, Jordan and Angle competed several times, including at the Survivor Series in 2017, in which Jordan, along with Seth Rollins, won the Raw Tag Team Championship.

After suffering a neck injury in early 2018, Jordan was out of action for a significant period of time. He returned to the ring later that year but retired in 2019.
